Patricia's favorite's simple Angel soft sculpture

sometimes..materials used in art..can be just in a drawer, closet, mis matched peices..this is a soft sculpture angel..made of an old "slip",cotton shirt, and fragmented lace cloth..together simple and sweet..the drawing on the face is from "your makeup case"..creativity in an artist's works..can be just sitting at your own home..this piece was a 2 day project, just working to find really the proper "non" paint, to work the face, eyeliner, blush, shadow,it works..the "slip"..just is cut from the arms..and hangs down...add a ribbon here and there..and it is a wonderful piece of "sorta" "artsy crafty'sie."..but also hangs 5 ft down..although not everyone's taste..its the imagination of using items inside the home..that created "sweet, innocent, and stunning" art..

Patricia's design work with Religious artifacts...splendid..for "comfy home'

Patricia Hassey allard, has the "think outside the box"..in "eclectic, egdy, and functional" design's..the design..that always has your guests wondering."why didn't i think of that"..Living in Georgetown,D.C....a very upscale area, and having 2 stores, websites..for over 18 years..the trick is..if you "love it"..buy it..."display and enjoy"...shown is an early 18th century scandinavian wedding trunk, (great storage..you learn to always always compliment in older homes with simple tricks such as "antique, or ornate, blanket/wedding trunks, older homes lack closets, and storage)..I especially love..that i found this church votive top/the base..never was found..but...something i love, as the votive dates the 1920's..is that..yes display on mantel, buffet, console,as with me a most unique, expensive trunk..added with a backdrop of antique etchings, and watercolors..and its a "wow"...Many times in Georgetown, as my hubby and i sat in our living room, we noticed..that walk by traffic would always stop at our window..and gaze..or i would actually have customers, stop by, to see, what the house looked like..today, i still find that..8 years leaving now returned..amazed..by design..never thinking that a house can be more of a home..when you incorporate..the "love" of art/design, to daily living!!

Stained glass for your home..facinating,eclectic,unique and beautiful

Patricia Hassey (allard) is committed to new and unique design's for the home..religious stained glass is really nothing new in a home..if added in the proper setting/place of the home..the glass is most unique in an older or on the reverse..contempo home..many ways..framed boxed with inside lighting for accent on wall, better than a mural...palm tree...yadda yadda...but also inside for doors..inside the frames..to the dividers in the home..to also used as replacement for the "ordinary" window..these unique stained glass..can also be protected on the outside if used for 'window" ..with protective plexi glass..other uses are so many..the sizes you choose, to what is it that you realy would love to see...a home is most unique to me, if you "don't follow" rules..and make the home..comfortable..for you!
